Brittany + Carson’s Colorado Proposal | Atlanta Film Photographer

When our friend Carson asked if we would be up for an adventure to Colorado to capture his proposal to his girlfriend, Brittany, we were determined to make it happen. Before we knew it, Brandon and I were on a plane and headed to Breckenridge for a weekend getaway in the Rocky Mountains. Carson had planned the perfect surprise proposal and we were just tickled to be there to help him pull it off. While Brittany thought we were all there for a weekend getaway to celebrate her birthday, secretly we were there to capture and celebrate their proposal and new engagement. Knowing that I had recently taken on film photography, Brittany was not the least bit surprised that I wanted to take them out in the snow for some practice. How could I let an opportunity like that pass, right?!  Little did she know, Carson and I had done some research and chosen the perfect spot for the actual proposal: Sapphire Point Overlook.

We started the session driving around stopping at a few beautiful spots that caught my eye along the way, but ultimately, we were heading right to the top of the mountain Carson had chosen for his proposal spot. The session starts out as a normal couple’s session and leads right into a moment I will always hold dear to my heart and am so blessed I got witness!! Check out the proposal of Brittany’s dreams and one of the dreamiest engagement sessions yet…

Brandon was able to capture the proposal with his iPhone, which you can see below. Ignore my head as I jumped down the hill in 3 feet of snow to get the best angle. The things we do. 😉
